Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca Beginnings & Marrakech Arrival

Begin your private journey through Morocco in Casablanca, where you will meet your English-speaking driver/guide and visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.

Continue by private vehicle towards Marrakech. After arriving and checking into your riad, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure before dinner.

Day 2: The Colours & Culture of Marrakech

After breakfast, explore Marrakech with a certified local guide. Visit some of the city’s most important sights, including Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque and Majorelle Garden.

Continue into the historic Medina, exploring its colourful souks, narrow streets and lively squares while discovering the architecture, culture and atmosphere that make Marrakech one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities.

Day 3: Across the High Atlas to Ancient Ait Benhaddou

After breakfast, leave Marrakech and begin the spectacular journey across the High Atlas Mountains. Travel through dramatic mountain scenery before reaching Ait Benhaddou, the historic fortified village known for its distinctive earthen architecture.

After exploring Ait Benhaddou, continue to Ouarzazate before travelling onwards through Morocco’s changing landscapes towards Dades. Journey through valleys and rugged scenery before reaching the dramatic Dades Gorge and arriving at your riad for the evening.

Day 4: Todra Gorge & Into the Sahara

After breakfast, depart Dades and continue towards the Sahara, stopping along the way to explore the dramatic landscapes of Todra Gorge.

Continue to Merzouga and the edge of the Sahara, where your desert experience begins. Ride by camel across the dunes and take in the vast desert landscape before arriving at your camp. Spend the evening in the Sahara with dinner and traditional Berber entertainment beneath the desert sky.

Day 5: Desert Sunrise & the Journey to Imperial Fes

Begin the day with the opportunity to watch the sunrise over the Sahara before breakfast at the desert camp. Leave Merzouga behind and begin the journey north towards Fes, stopping at Rissani Market along the way.

Continue through Morocco’s changing landscapes, with a short stop in Ifrane if time allows. As the desert gives way to the greener scenery of northern Morocco, continue towards Fes and arrive at your riad in the evening.

Day 6: Ancient Fes & the Blue City

After breakfast, explore Fes with a certified local guide. Venture into the historic Fes Medina, discover its maze of narrow streets and traditional workshops, and visit the famous Chouara Tannery.

After experiencing one of Morocco’s most atmospheric old cities, continue north towards Chefchaouen. Arrive in the blue city and check into your riad for the evening.

Day 7: A Morning in Chefchaouen & Casablanca

Enjoy a relaxed morning discovering Chefchaouen and its distinctive blue-painted streets. Take time to wander through the Medina, browse local shops and experience the atmosphere of one of Morocco’s most recognisable destinations.

Depart Chefchaouen at approximately 11:00 and continue by private vehicle directly to Casablanca. Arrive later in the day with time to settle in and enjoy your final evening in Morocco.

Day 8: Farewell Morocco

After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in Morocco depending on your flight schedule.

Your private driver will transfer you to Casablanca Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your eight-day private journey through Morocco.
