The temple itself is part of a complex of 244 smaller shrines and temples; the three largest temples at the Prambanan complex are all built in the IX century, and are dedicated to the three greatest gods in Hindu mythology Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. The temple is unique and due to its amazing and very beautiful artwork and relief sculpture has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Seven Travel have arranged a full English speaking guide who will tell you all about the history of the temple, and the people who used to worship here.
