We invite you to go on a two-day trip to the Principality of Karangasem and the pristine fisherman village of Amed with its stunning sceneries of the backdrop of mighty and mystical Agung volcano. You will see beautiful black sand beaches of Amed and the magnificent water palaces built by the ancient kings of Karangasem. You will visit Charlie's Chocolate Factory with its heavenly swings and you will get to see one of the most beautiful and important temples in Bali– Luhur Lempuyang. You will spend the night in a hotel with ocean views where you will be able to see the sunrise and you will explore the rich underwater marine life of Amed and the surrounding coastal villages.
Your journey will start at a beach with a funny name: Pantai Kusamba. You can not only take beautiful, Instagram-worthy photos on this black volcanic beach but if you're lucky, you also get to see the ancient trades of sea salt farming. Then, for the contrast, we will also take you to a stunning white sand beach: Pantai Bias Tugal. Here, you can swim in the sea and enjoy some freshly caught and grilled fish at one of the beach cafes. Next stop is at Charlie’s Chocolate Factory where you can try all kinds of chocolate flavours, buy some gifts and souvenirs such as handmade soap, and take photos on the famous beach swing. Then, it is time to visit the water Palace Taman Ujung, built by King Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut. According to the legend, the king personally participated in the construction of the Palace along with his workers. That’s it for today - now it’s time to relax in your hotel and take in those stunning sea views.
If you are an early bird, you will love waking up to the breathtaking island sunrise that enchants you and gives you energy for the whole day to come. After breakfast, today’s exciting journey begins at a beautiful Balinese temple surrounded by clouds, Luhur Lempuyang. This temple is also known as the “gateway to heaven” or “road to the clouds” and you can take the most stunning photos at the top of the very long stairs that lead you to the temple. Luhur Lempuyang is truly an incredible, magical place! Next, you will visit the water palace Tirta Gangga, built in 1946 by King Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut, featuring sprawling gardens with ponds, fountains and bathing pools. From here, we drive to Keramas Aero Park, a unique restaurant in Bali where you can dine on board an aircraft or beneath one of its wings. Quite a unique experience and you can take some cool unusual photos, too!
