Day 1: West Nusa Penida & Private Snorkeling
Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from your Bali hotel at approximately 06:30–07:00, followed by a transfer to Sanur Harbour. From here, travel by fast boat across to Nusa Penida, where your local English-speaking guide will meet you and begin your island adventure.
Start the day with a private snorkeling trip to Manta Point and Crystal Bay, two of Nusa Penida’s best-known snorkeling locations. Explore clear tropical waters, colourful marine life and coral reefs, with the possibility of encountering manta rays in their natural habitat.
After snorkeling, continue to Kelingking Beach, one of Nusa Penida’s most recognisable landscapes. From the clifftop viewpoint, take in sweeping views across the distinctive limestone headland, white-sand beach and turquoise Indian Ocean below.
Next, visit Angel’s Billabong, a naturally formed rock pool surrounded by the island’s rugged coastline. The dramatic setting makes it one of West Nusa Penida’s most distinctive coastal stops.
Nearby, explore Broken Beach, where the ocean has carved an enormous natural arch through the limestone cliffs, creating a spectacular circular cove connected to the sea.
After a full day exploring West Nusa Penida, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your own pace.
Day 2: East Nusa Penida
After breakfast, continue through the quieter eastern side of Nusa Penida, where sacred sites, dramatic beaches and panoramic viewpoints reveal a completely different side of the island.
Begin at Goa Giri Putri Temple, one of Nusa Penida’s most important spiritual sites, hidden inside an enormous limestone cave. Enter through the surprisingly narrow opening before discovering the vast temple complex within and experiencing an important part of the island’s Balinese Hindu culture.
Continue to Atuh Beach, a secluded bay framed by towering cliffs and distinctive offshore rock formations.
Nearby, visit Diamond Beach, one of East Nusa Penida’s most impressive coastal landscapes. From the clifftop, enjoy sweeping views over the white-sand beach, turquoise water and dramatic limestone formations rising from the ocean.
Continue to the Thousand Islands Viewpoint, where panoramic views stretch across the rugged coastline and small limestone islands scattered through the sea. Visit the nearby Rumah Pohon Tree House, perched high above the coastline overlooking one of the island’s most photographed landscapes.
Finish your exploration at Teletubbies Hill, where rolling hills and open landscapes create a striking contrast to Nusa Penida’s rugged coastline. The scenery changes throughout the year, shifting from lush green during wetter periods to warmer golden tones in the drier months.
After exploring East Nusa Penida, return to the harbour for your fast boat back to Bali. On arrival in Sanur, your transfer will take you back to your hotel, completing your two-day journey across Nusa Penida.
